The Day Centre was opened in 1982 at the Peak Centre to help the elderly residents of Liphook to have a place to spend a day and share time with others and have a freshly cooked meal. 		Liphook Day Centre

We are open Tuesday Wednesday & Thursdays from 9:30am to 3:15pm. Clients are collected from their homes and returned again at the end of the day. During their time at the Day Centre they take part in quizzes, bingo, art and crafts, flower arranging and enjoy the company of others. They are taken on trips out during the year and have special birthday cakes made by the cooks on birthdays to help celebrate.

We are a Registered Charity (The Peak Centre Trust, number 285001) and rely on donations and fundraising to keep the Centre open. We are very grateful for the support from the local businesses and residents of Liphook.

News

Recently a coffee morning, quiz and skittles evening have been held to raise funds for the Day Centre. We have been fortunate to have received a cheque from the Prospective Rotary Club of Liphook which paid for our Clients to have an Easter meal and Easter Eggs.

A grant from "Have your say" EHDC enabled the purchase of some tables and the South East Water Company provided funds for a new computer which will be used by the Managers and Clients.

Legacies were received from Clients and Volunteers who had been involved with the Day Centre over many years.

Other fund raising for the coming months include the bike riders in Lidba and some of the volunteers who are being sponsored to walk the '02 Dome' in June.

A "100" Club is also run details of which can be received from the Managers.

The Trustees and Committee do appreciate all the people who give support and help with funds to allow the Day Centre to remain open and give the elderly of Liphook and Bramshott a happy and friendly place to spend their time in others company.
